Who is the controller

What we collect and why
To book a room we need your name, a phone number or an email, and the dates of your stay. Without those we cannot hold the room. The legal basis is the performance of the accommodation contract.
On arrival we enter you in the guest book: name, date of birth, address, identity document and the length of the stay. Czech law requires this, we cannot skip it.
If you paid and asked for a receipt, we keep it in our bookkeeping. Also a legal duty.
How long we keep it
Emails and booking notes: 1 year after the stay ends. Then we delete them.
Guest book: 6 years, as required by the Czech act on the residence of foreign nationals.
Accounting records: 10 years, as required by the Czech value added tax act.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data and we never use it for marketing.
If you booked through Booking.com, that platform also processes your data as a separate controller. It follows its own rules, which you find on its website.
We keep bookings ourselves, in a notebook and in a file on our own computer. We do not upload them anywhere else.
We hand guest book data to the authorities when the law requires it. For example the police or the Foreign Police.
What this website tracks
Nothing. There is no Google Analytics and no other measuring tool on this site. We set no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you see no consent bar here.
We store one single thing in your browser: the language you picked. That way the site does not ask you again. This never leaves your device.
The map on the Contact page loads from OpenStreetMap. When the map appears, OpenStreetMap sees your IP address, just as it would if you opened its own site. It does not use it for advertising or profiling.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you. You can ask for a correction if something is wrong. You can ask for deletion, unless the law makes us keep the record.
